Masala potatoes are a beloved, flavorful dish that perfectly balances spices with the comforting goodness of tender potatoes. This recipe combines earthy potatoes with a blend of aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam masala, creating a mouthwatering side dish or snack.

Cooking Instructions

  • STEP 1

    Boil & cut the potatoes into small cubes. Finely chop coriander leaves. Finely chop green chillies.

  • STEP 2

    On low flame, heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When they change in colour, add asafoetida, curry leaves, boiled and cut potatoes, chopped green chillies, salt, sugar, lemon juice, red chilli powder. Mix well till little crispy.

  • STEP 3

    Add chopped coriander leaves, coriander powder, red chilli crushed and mix well.

  • STEP 4

    Garnish it with chopped cilantro and serve hot with Deep chapati and pickle.
