Egg Curry is a simple and satisfying stable of Indian cooking. This comforting classic features boiled eggs simmered in a rich, spiced tomato-onion gravy. Use Deep Foods premium products to craft the perfect egg curry!
Cooking Instructions

STEP 1
On medium low flame heat oil in pan. Add bay leaves, curry leaves, grounded onion paste and salt and sauté till dark pink in color. Add tomato puree and cover and cook for approximately 2 minutes. Sauté till the oil comes out.

Next, add garam masala powder, 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder, fennel powder and salt and mix well. Add in the curry paste and give it a good stir. Finally, add water and cook until the required consistency is reached. Add palm crushed Kasuri Methi and give it a good stir, then remove in a bowl.

Cut the boiled eggs vertically into two pieces each. On medium low flame, heat salted butter in pan. Place the egg halves in delicately and stir fry both sides till a little crispy. Turn off the heat and sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder over the eggs. Turn upside down and sauté a little until done. Serve hot and enjoy!
