Cooking Instructions

STEP 1
Wash 1 cup of rice in cold water until water is clear. Soak rice in 2 cups of water for 10-15 minutes in a cooking pot. Optional: Add 1/4 tsp salt and 1 tbsp ghee (clarified butter).

STEP 2
Bring the rice to a boil. Bring to boil. Stir, cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of Kandi Podi and 3 tbsp of ghee to the cooked rice and mix. Garnish with cilantro or toasted cashews.
